Personnel changes in the Board of Management

THÜNGEN. Effective February 1, 2020, Rainer Gebken (41) will begin his work as Managing Director of Schmittergroup GmbH, a subsidiary of the Zhongding Group. Mr. Hans-Martin Trefzger, former Managing Director, will continue to serve as a consultant to the Zhongding Group.

Rainer Gebken comes from the automotive supplier SteloTec GmbH, based in Mannheim. As Managing Director, he was responsible for the Carve-Out from SchmitterGroup and the reorganization of business processes. Prior to that, the graduate industrial engineer with studies in Braunschweig and Omaha, NE worked in various management positions at Daimler AG as well as in the supplier industry in the field of engine component manufacturing and pipe processing.
